Uses and Benefits
Chopping fodder for draught animals and domestic cattle is done with fodder-cutting machines. Farmers use this instrument to slice straw, hay, and maize fodder into small pieces that livestock can digest readily. There is reduced wastage as there is chopped hay. Because chopped hay improves digestion and nutrition, weight gain is hastened. Chopped hay also helps in digestion.
